2024 Theme: Pretty in Pink - Where Beauty Meets Purpose
In honor of this year’s Gopher Hill Festival theme, Miss Jasper County Pageant will be a pageant with a purpose! We believe that beauty is not just skin deep; it’s about the beauty of giving, caring, and making a difference. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce this year’s pageant is dedicated to making an impact towards breast cancer awareness and research.

More than a competition.
The Miss Jasper County Pageant is staged each August in Ridgeland, the county seat of Jasper County, and the winning queens are introduced during the Gopher Hill Festival each October. These Jasper Queens of all ages play an important role in the festival.
​
Jasper County queens serve as ambassadors for the Gopher Hill Festival and perform other civic duties in Jasper County. They attend all the festival events and ride in the Grand Parade.
​
The pageant is open county wide to girls ages 0 month to 21 years of age and boys ages 0 months to 4 years of age. Contestants from all over the County, all vying for the titles of Baby Miss/Master, Toddler Miss/Master, Wee Miss/Master, Tiny Miss, Little Miss, Young Miss, Teen Miss, and Miss Jasper County. The first runner up is crowned Master/Miss Gopher Hill and second runner up is crowned Master/Miss Ridgeland. The pageant is staged each August at the Ridgeland Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.

The purpose of the Miss Jasper County Pageant is to build self-confidence while acknowledging those who make a positive contribution to the community. The Miss Jasper County Pageant is a non-profit corporation. Judging will be a panel of three accredited or working on accreditation by the Miss South Carolina USA Pageant.
